About this artwork
"The Tower" is a contemporary figurative work that explores concentration, collaboration, and the patient logic of building something that might not hold, through a palette of warm sand, moss green, and primary red and blue. Working in acrylic on canvas, I build depth through muted, close-valued color, delicate transitions, and a tactile painted surface. The horizontal format spreads the scattered blocks across the full width of the canvas and gives the composition the loose order of a floor mid-game. I use the rising stack at the centre, the wooden car at the far left, and the open canvas bag at the right to guide the eye and set the rhythm of the work. Two children, one tower, and the shared understanding that the next block decides everything.
